Materials: Aluminium boxes, found material collected from between the seats of a cars in a car graveyard.

This piece is a key work in my ongoing exploration of collage as composition. Here, the invisible, intimate space between car seats is approached as a true treasure chamber, as the car is stripped of its glossy exterior. Diamanté stickers, crumpled sweet wrappers, nylon stockings and hairpins become relics of a shared life.
